A strategic partner to business stakeholders (Malaysia & Singapore) in driving business decisions and innovations through data-led insights. Lead the insights team in generating, managing and disseminating consumer/ shopper insights to shape marketing strategy and drive business growth.


  • Lead the development and execution of insights/research programmes & projects
  • Distil insights to shape brand, communications, sales, channel and innovation strategies
  • Interpret and analyze research data (both primary & secondary) with timely and relevant data to provide value-added and actionable insights to key stakeholders
  • Define Company-wide standards/ KPIs to measure performance related to consumer insights e.g. market share
  • Provide insights on local trends, competitor’ activities and market outlook; and their relations to sales/market share performance
  • Enable the data-driven decisions via influential and impactful insights
  • Effectively manage vendor/agency relationships to establish effective business partnerships
  • Preparation & presentation of regular market updates to various stakeholders; assist in preparation of board file, commercial papers etc.
  • Conduct training / sharing sessions with relevant parties to build capabilities in understanding of insights
  • Supplier management and relationship-building for continuous delivery of quality work & client service


  • Degree holder, with background in Marketing/ Communications
  • Minimum 10-12 years relevant working experience, preferably in FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge in research concepts, methodologies, analysis and sampling methods
  • Familiarity with Nielsen, brand health tracker, campaign tracker and ad tracker (on top of other ad-hoc/customized researches)
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to articulate, communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Highly numerate and solution-driven
  • Experienced in various types of market research methodologies for brand positioning, communication testing and NPD/innovation testing
  • Technology-savvy and has a penchant for finding innovative ways of solving problems
