Insights
Support in research project management, detailed analysis and sharing of value-added insights leading to decision-making and business strategies for Carlsberg Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
- Assist in various tracking studies (i.e., Nielsen, Brand Health Tracker); distilling insights to help shape brand, communications, and channel strategy.
- Assist in reviewing questionnaires and report deliverables.
- Assist to interpret and analyze research data (both primary & secondary) to provide value-added and actionable insights to key stakeholders.
- Support in managing external suppliers for consumer insights and research.
- Support in preparation & presentation of regular market updates to various stakeholders; assist in preparation of board file, commercial papers etc.
Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any other similar qualification.
Quality Assurance (Complaint Management & Pest Control)
The Quality Assurance Apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in maintaining operational standards through hygiene audits, pest control management, and complaint resolution. You will apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, learning to identify risks and implement corrective actions across the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the QA Assistant Manager in investigations, reporting, and tasks related to complaint management, pest control, and hygiene programs.
- Support complaint management activities by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor pest control services, follow up on corrective actions, and perform trend analysis.
- Coordination within QA team on troubleshooting when needed.
- Assist in conducting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training.
- Support hygiene audits at production lines and the canteen and contribute improvement ideas to enhance hygiene standards.
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering or any other similar qualification.
Maintenance
Assist the Maintenance Team with preventive servicing, troubleshooting, and machine repairs to minimize downtime. Support overhaul activities, update maintenance documents and IT systems, and coordinate contractors when needed. Maintain strong 5S practices, follow safety and company policies, and carry out additional tasks to support overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Gain hands on operational experience by assisting the Maintenance Team in the following duties:
- Carry out preventative maintenance and routine scheduling servicing in accordance with the Carlsberg Operating Manual (COM) and manufacturers recommendations.
- Deal with machine breakdowns and effect repairs to ensure minimum down time.
- Trouble shoot and fault find any defects on machines and carry out repairs as necessary.
- Involve in line overhaul scheduling work may be needed from time to time.
- Involve maintenance document updating accordance COM requirement.
- Updating and maintaining accurate information on the company IT maintenance systems.
- Management of maintenance and repair sub-contractors (as and when required).
- Active to have good 5S housekeeping standard in maintenance department.
- Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company.
- Carry out other reasonable requests made by the line manager to support departmental or company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health and Safety are complied with.
- Observe and comply with all good working practices.
Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or any other similar qualification.
