Provide highest level of quality administrative support and ensure effective and efficient execution of procurement operations in the company

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support within the department. Maintain proper filing system and housekeeping within the department.

  • Assists in the day-to-day procurement operations (documents administration, contract management and SAP system management) as directed by superior

  • Assists in issuing PO, PR, GRN, Vendor creation, etc documents

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and work instructions set by company.

  • Actively engage with external (vendors, agency, consultant, etc) and internal stakeholders

  • Involve, prepare and follow-up on sourcing, buying, purchasing, tendering, bidding activities and projects

  • Any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or related field from recognized institution or equivalent.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • min 6 months working experience related to procurement
  • Responsible and able to work independently
  • Commitment to provide prompt and quality service
  • High level of integrity and honesty
  • Team player
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
  • Able to communicate effectively with suppliers
  • Good communication, problem solving skills & negotiation skills
  • Knowledgeable in documentation – Procurement and ISO (9000 and 14000)
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
